Final HWM Survey Results
The final results of the 2023 survey of the entire Chain for hybrid watermilfoil (HWM), an aquatic invasive species, is available. The SRCLA will use this data to guide our management plans for 2024. It took less than 2 years for HWM to get established and spread. It is a humbling example of how quickly invasive species can become a problem. Please remember to clean, drain, and dry your boats and equipment.
