Agenda:

Lily Carr from Minnestoa Lakes and Rivers present the Lake Steward Program to explain how your lake can join the Sauk River Chain in participating in this program.  We will also have Greg Berg from the Stearns County Conservation District explain how County and State resources can be used to complement the Lake Steward Program.  

A deputy from the Stearns County Water Patrol will be at the COLA meeting to review the new law and detail the Youth Boat Safety Classes co-sponsored by Stearns COLA.  See the flyer below for more info.

We will also have a discussion pertaining to the current RFP process for AIS support from Stearns County.  It is unsure if full AIS funding will be available next year based on the current state budget proposals from the Governor.  Hopefully we will have answers prior to the May 20th meeting so can discuss how to move forward for 2026.
