2024 Water Quality Report Available
2024 Lake Water Quality Report
The 2024 Water Quality report is now available: click here or go to the Projects page. It is the product of the Sauk River Watershed District (SRWD) in partnership with the Sauk River Chain of Lakes Association (SRCLA). The SRWD produces this more detailed report every five years. Unsurprisingly, the Sauk River Chain of Lakes still carries an excessive nutrient load, particularly phosphorus, and the SRCLA will continue to advocate for programs to reduce the nutrient load. 2023 Water Quality Report
2023 Water Quality Report now available.
The 2023 Water Quality Report is now available. This is the product of a partnership with the Sauk River Watershed District, which we have been doing since the early 80s. The data shows a trend of improving water quality over the years. In addition, we started measuring temperature and dissolved oxygen at various depths for the first time!
